Overview

Ellis Li started to draw since she was 3 years old. She was well known of her talent since her time in elementary school at St. Ellis Kardoli School in Hong Kong, Kalakaua Middle School, and Farrington High School in Honolulu, Hawaii. She received many National Merit Awards in Art during her high school years and a numbers of Art scholarships. All her award winning paintings were sold by her high school teacher that time, which were mostly watercolor paintings. She can complete a portrait in pencil drawing in less than 15 minutes. She finished her Art study in the University of Hawaii and graduated with a BFA. She still continues to draw and paint.

Portrait Requests

Portraits can be painted by special request. Take a look at the art gallery for samples of portraits.
The portraits can be painted in the following types:

• Oil-based
• Watercolor
• Pastel
• Pen
• Colored Pencil

The portrait's frame size can vary upon request, but can typically range as small as a letter sized paper at 8.5"w x 11"h and as big as 38"w x 48"h.
